Shelly & Austin's wedding in Bandera, TX

It's not unusual to get calls from old acquaintances wanting wedding coverage, but when a childhood friend you grew up with calls and just wants portraits, it's amazing! I got to go as a guest and enjoy watching someone I knew from birth marry her person, Austin. He'd actually come to NYC during a layover some years back and came to hang out with a group of friends and I while we watched the world cup games one summer to pass the time. He was down to earth, just the right amount of quirky and had just came in from Spain! Here are some of my favorites from their portrait session at golden hour on the ranch they'd rented out for their day. (PS I've seen more brides rocking awesome *not white* dresses lately and I love the fad!)
